I decided to go with this instead of the Systema PTW CQB-R simply because I love GBB guns (and I could afford it being half the price of a PTW)

At 9:14am this morning the Post man delivered a good sized express package in my name. I knew exactly what it was, it was my long awaited Western Arms CQB-R gas blowback rifle. After I signed for the package I immediately brought it to my kitchen table, opened my knife, and began opening the package. I opened the box to reveal another plain cardboard ...

M11 ROF increase anyone?

Hey guys,

I was in my room going through some boxes when I found my KSC M11A1 laying helplessly in the bottom of a box. I picked it up, field stripped it and cleaned up the dust that had accumulated on it. I had just recently worked on a real M11 and so I thought to myself "this thing looks basically the same as the real one..." so I then remembered that you can simply increase the ROF on the real one by adding what's called a "MAC-JAC" to the back of the lower receiver ...

Ok, well um here it goes.

I have been playing airsoft for a little over two years now. I have had three guns, first CA MP5 which died I dunno how many times, then I sold it. Now I have a KWA USP and a stock TM AK47. Late this year my AK will get an inokatsu AKM kit, real steel wood furniture, real scope, a pbs1 silencer, and a barrel.

I have other hobbies besides airsoft. I LOVE bettas, and I like to breed them. I don't buy those ones you see at walmart, I buy the ones that are show ...

How Do You Like Your Pistols : Stock or Upgraded, And Why?

I thought this might be an interesting poll to see how the members here like to keep their pistols. I know some people that keep all their guns stock, otheres that feel the need to upgrade everything, and others that only upgrade a select few.

But the real question here isn't whether or not you upgrade your guns, but why do you keep your guns the way you do?

Some people upgrade their guns because they just love to tinker with and tune them, others upgrade for a competitive edge or ...

Where to get replacement M9 mag catch?

Does anyone know which replacement mag catch would be best for a Marui copied 92 GBB? I'd also appreciate if you could tell me where I could get one, since a search through the sites I usually buy from didn't yield any results, so I thought I'd just ask here and tell a story.

Stupid thing wore out at the worst time. I was trying out one of those KWC regulators on it, and I was thinking the regulator was cranked up to high and shooting the mag out and light striking. I've turned it over, ...

This is my first post. My name is mateba and I have a TM 5.1 and love it.

I got it last Christmas. Great gun! Its just as accurate as a real one within 25ft.

The problem happens when I gas my mag. I use propane and green gas and it just leaks out a little after I start gassing. I have been told its my seals. I tried to lube them up but that didn't work. Any suggestions? Any mag disassembly guides?

mateba

Pistol Only Loadout Discussion

I thought that I'd kick off a thread about what you normally carry when you run pistol only. Using a basic template would be nice so that it is easy to compare what people use.

Gun: I have a number of GBB's but I almost always use my upgraded TM Hi-Capa (w/4 mags) for skirmishing.

Gear: I like using pistols because they are casual common guns. Thus, I am not into collecting gear and uniforms. Rather I use street clothes and bags, pockets, pouches, etc which gives me more an operative/assassin/agent ...

Temperature question with GBBs.

What temperature do folks think is too hot for a stock airsoft gun.. heck.. even upgraded ones.

At a recent game or two here in NZ, the temperature was at least in the 30s (Celsius) and I found that a couple of the Marui guns felt as though they were cycling TOO fast. In one instance a 4.3 with an upgraded hammer spring, recoil spring and metal slide destroyed a part I have never heard of breaking - the piece that houses the hammer itself! Admittedly, the magazine had been left in the sun ...

How to install metal mag catcher in Glocks

Unfortunately the KWA Glock 19 does not come with a metal mag catcher. Over time the plastic can wear out, especially if you have an extended mag. The mag may fall out and be damaged. The plastic one is fine for a while. But I would suggest people go out and buy a new mag catch eventually.

There are also a large number of different brands that carry these mag catches. I decided to buy the G&G mag catch. I bought it for $10 at Airsoft extreme ...

Classic Army Double screw silencer

Price payed: $45

Bought at: Airsoft Extreme

Rating: 3/5

I decided to try out the double screw Classic Army silencer as I was not sure whether I was going to go with cw silencer attachment that G&G sells or a different method which would have been ccw.

Anyway after ordering from Airsoft Extreme they sent the silencer fairly quick. Amongst the other upgrades I had ordered I found this:

The silencer was very light.
How much are you willing to spend on a Gas Pistol?

This comes up often with me. People are always a little amazed at the cost of building guns to the level I like to. I think it is mostly that people are amazed that something so physically small can cost so much money.

To me the question of cost is irrelevant. A high quality, upgraded gun (AEG or otherwise) is going to cost a lot of money. Yes you can swap a spring in an AEG for cheap and now you have an "upgraded" gun, but you can do the same with a pistol. I have built an ...

I posted this up on ASB, but thought it would be nice over here as well:

So I thought I would post up some actual chrono results for Red Gas use. The test gun was my fully built Delta Elite Comp (TM), but your results will mimic mine since the fps difference is entirely down to the extra pressure. Results are from Toytec .20 bbs through a XCortech 3200 chrono. Inside with a full, room temperature mag.

Green Gas:

405.1

401.8

398.6

390.1

391.9

390.9

391.3

374.9

381.9

381.9

Avg: ...

Since I've heard good things about the outer barrel that comes with the metal slide set, and since I'd rather have a tight bore instead of just two outer barrels, I was thinking of getting this PDI tightbore with threaded attachment.

How to Remove the Orange Tip:

Removing the orange tip off your airsoft replicas is fairly easy. If the orange tip is located on the slide of your GBB you can remove it using nail polish remover or paint thinner diluted in water. I am sure you can find it in somewhere in your house.

Should look something like this:

Start by disassembling the gun and taking off the slide. In this case I will be using a silencer I had laying around the house. So thanks go out to the admin for starting AGGF.

Here's a rundown of my airsoft history. I started playing seriously around 2001 with a TM mp5 and a KSC glock 19. While both of those guns are gone, my collection has only grown. Right now my primary rifle is a SystemA PTW MAX, and I usually carry a pair of KSC M9s and a WA SVI 4.3 for sidearms. ...

Introduction

For quite some time I have been looking for the perfect Hi-Capa 5.1 sight.
